Timothy Claude Jamar, age 69, of Berryville, Arkansas, passed away Monday, August 5, 2024, at Fayetteville Health and Rehab, in Fayetteville, Arkansas. Timothy, son of James and Ina Mae (Sibley) Jamar was born on January 28, 1955, in Shreveport, Louisiana. On September 6, 1984, he married the love of his life Brenda Kay Brockinton in Hot Springs, Arkansas. Tim developed a passion for woodworking and building furniture. Mostly, he got absorbed in the creative process as it unfolded whether that was an idea striking for a new piece of unique furniture or a poem finding him while he was watching the leaves fall during a break out behind the shop. From water skiing to fishing, his interests varied with time although his one-of-a-kind nature and faith always endured.
Survivors include his loving wife of 39 years, Brenda Kay Jamar; one son, Timothy Ryan (T.R.) Jamar and his wife Hailey; one granddaughter, Hatcher Rae; one sister, Janice Hughes and her husband Craig; nieces and nephews, Blake, Meredith, Jana, Callie, Brian, Brady, Brent, Brandi, and Blair. Tim is preceded in death by one sister, Diane and one brother, Jim.
There is a small informal ceremony honor his life outside of Berryville, AR under the King's River Bridge on HWY 62 at 9 a.m. Wednesday, August 14th.
Family, friends, and others whose lives he touched are invited to attend a celebration of life at 10 a.m. on Friday, August 16th to be held at Noel Memorial United Methodist Church, 520 Herndon Street, Shreveport, LA 71101 in the Lane Chapel
Arrangements are under the direction of Cremations Only LLC.
