Ruth Ellen Brito, age 84, passed away peacefully on Sunday March 30, 2025, at Mercy Hospital in Rogers, Arkansas surrounded by family. Ruth was born to James and Ruth Ellen (Bosland) Duncan on November 30, 1940. Ruth was united in marriage to Vincente Brito in Las Vegas, Nevada.

Ruth was known for her deep affection for animals, a passion that she carried throughout her life. She found tranquility and contentment in knitting, often creating beautiful pieces for her loved ones. Ruth was very artistic often painting and drawing. She also had a love for cooking and everything related to food. Ruth had a great sense of humor to all that knew her and will be greatly missed.

Survivors include one daughter, Mindy Whorton and her husband Noah; one son, Richard Yezefski and his wife Jessica; four grandchildren, Kayla Meadows, Tara Yezefski, Tyler Yezefski, and Nicholas Whorton; two great grandchildren, Kason and Luigi; loyal friend, L.D. Reynolds; special friend, Joanne Duncan; and husband Vincente.

Memorials may be made to an animal rescue of your choice.
