Obituary

Raymond Edward Topf Jr, age 56, of Fayetteville, Arkansas, passed away on Thursday, February 24, 2022, at Walker Park, along with his wife Amanda.
Son to Raymond and Jo Ann Topf Sr., Ray was born on June 8, 1965, in Omaha, Nebraska.

Ray served proudly in the Army, with the First Calvary Division, in Fort Hood, Texas, as well as in the National Guard.  For over 25 years, Ray worked for Waste Management branches in Omaha Nebraska, Little Rock and Fayetteville, Arkansas.

In 1992, Ray married Kimberly Adamson and the couple went on to have two boys, Jonah Elijah and Devin Mikayle.  Ray also considered Nicole Adamson, Kim's daughter, as his own. In 2005, the couple relocated to Arkansas, where they spent many happy years together before eventually divorcing in 2018. In 2020, Ray met and fell in love with Amanda Hanes, the couple married in 2021. Known as "Mom & Dad" among the homeless community, where they helped many, Ray and Mandy were inseparable from the day they met until the night they passed on in one another's arms.

Ray was a hard worker and provider for his family. He loved fishing, music, and watching military movies. Ray even enjoyed riding motorcycles, both on road and off, but his greatest joy was spending time with his beloved family.  Ray will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him.

Survivors include two sons, Jonah Topf and Devin Topf, both of Fayetteville, Arkansas; one daughter, Nicole Steves and her husband Tom, of Little Rock, Arkansas; two grandchildren, Riley and Ryder; two brothers, Tony Topf and his wife Kolene, of DeSoto, Kansas, Carl Topf and his wife Rita, of Omaha, Nebraska; one sister, Virginia Brown and her husband John, of Norfolk, Nebraska; nieces, Virginia Murphy and Angela Bronson; and nephews, Anton Topf, BJ Brown, Patrick Brown and Josh Topf.
