Obituary

Nicholes Alan Delano, age 35, of Gentry, Arkansas, passed away on Monday, November 1, 2021, at Washington Regional Hospital in Fayetteville, Arkansas.  Nicholes, son of Travis and Shawntel Delano, was born on November 28, 1985, in Sidney, Nebraska.  He graduated from Little Kansas Oklahoma High School in 2004.  Nicholes worked several different jobs throughout his life which included dairy farming, fixing fence, and worked for the City of Gravette for three years before having to resign due to his health complications of battling congestive heart failure.  He was always full of life, lived it to the fullest and many life experiences along the way.  Nicholes had a huge heart that was always willing to help others and was one that had never met a stranger; always making friends wherever he went.  He enjoyed fishing, hunting, and loved spending time with his family and friends.  Though Nicholes was just with us for a short time he left a lasting impression on so many lives and will be greatly missed.

Survivors include his parents, Travis and Shawntel Delano, of Gentry, Arkansas; two brothers, Justin Delano and his significant other Amanda Aldrich, of Monett, Missouri, and Chad Delano, of Decatur, Arkansas; four nieces, Shaylin Carnell, Alexis Watkins, Bailey Kyle, and Isabel McLean; one nephew, Isaiah McLean; his maternal grandmother, Judy Frerichs, of Lodgepole, Nebraska; paternal grandfather, Alen Delano, of Decatur, Tennessee; paternal step-grandfather, Emmit Arnold, of Nappanee, Indiana; three uncles, Jerry Frerichs and his wife Deb, of Las Vegas, Nevada, Tony Frerichs, of Lodgepole, Nebraska, and Eric Arnold and his wife Rebecca, of Siloam Springs, Arkansas; three aunts, Beth Alexander, of Nappanee, Indiana, Karena Arnold, of Cheyenne, Wyoming, and Michelle Raney, of Siloam Springs, Arkansas; and a host of several extended family members that all loved him dearly.

Nicholes was preceded in death by his Grandma Arnold; and his Farm Grandpa Frerichs.

A celebration of life will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, November 13, 2021, at the Cornerstone Baptist Church, 24550 Floyd Moore Road in Gentry, Arkansas, with Pastor Rob Matney officiating.

Cremation arrangements are under the direction of Cremations Only, Springdale, Arkansas.
