Manuel (Wayne) Hinson, age 89, passed away peacefully on June 8, 2026, at Willard Walker Hospice Home in Fayetteville, Arkansas.

Born on May 5, 1937, in Wright City, Oklahoma, Manuel was the son of Ollis and Hazel (Gage) Hinson. He grew up with a strong sense of duty, integrity, and dedication that would guide him throughout his life.

Wayne proudly served his country in the United States Air Force, a service he held with great honor and pride. Following his military service, he dedicated himself to a career in public service as a police officer with the Westminster Police Department in California, where he worked to protect and serve his community. He later enjoyed a long and successful career with Atlantic Richfield Oil Company, where he faithfully worked for 25 years before retiring.

On February 14, 1987, Wayne married Linda Gault, beginning a loving partnership built on friendship, devotion, and mutual respect. Together they shared many happy years and created countless cherished memories.

Wayne will be remembered as a hardworking, dependable, and honorable man whose life was defined by service to his country, his community, and those he loved. His quiet strength, dedication, and steadfast character earned the respect and admiration of all who knew him.

Wayne is survived by his loving wife; one son, Mike Hinson of Seaside, Oregon; three daughters, Sherry Rasco of Missouri; Karen Hunt of Oregon, and Debbie Fishburn of Grants Pass, Oregon; one granddaughter Tiffany Hinson of Fort Myers; 5 additional grandchildren; and several great grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Ollis and Hazel Hinson.

A celebration of life will be held at a later date.

Memorials may be made to Gospel Tract International in Elkins, Arkansas and entrusted to Cremations Only LLC.
