Lyman Lee Smith, age 73, of Fayetteville, Arkansas, passed away on Monday, December 27, 2021, at Washington Regional Hospital in Fayetteville, Arkansas. Son of Dewey and Hazel (Baker) Smith, Lyman was born on February 24, 1948, in Prairie Grove, Arkansas. He married the love of his life, Tammy Marsh on July 7, 2007, at Dutch Mills. Lyman worked as a carpenter and maintenance man, but also obtained his doctorate in animal psychology. Mr. Smith was a jack of all trades who enjoyed woodworking and science fiction television shows in his spare time.

Survivors include his wife, Tammy Smith, of Fayetteville, Arkansas; one son, Travis Smith and his wife Anita, of Oklahoma; four daughters, April Russell of Fayetteville, Arkansas, Kimberly Buck and her husband Jimmy of Westville, Oklahoma, Katherine McAnally, of Harrison, Arkansas and Amanda McAnally, of Summers, Arkansas; twelve grandchildren and three great-grandchildren; one brother, Lavon Smith, of Bakersville, California; and one niece, Melody Taylor of Bakersville, California.

Mr. Smith was preceeded in death by his parents.
